How to get there

Baltrum has a small harbour as well as an airport. In case you don’t possess a yacht or your own jet you have to take the ferry. Operating times depend on ebb and flow and thus change every day. Please find all information here: http://www.baltrum-linie.de (unfortunately only available in German)

How to get there…

….by car
The ferry starts from Neßmersiel harbour. Please follow the signs for Neßmersiel coming from Norden or Aurich. You will have to leave your car there as Baltrum is a car-free space. The parking fee is 6€/day (2022).

…by coach

Coaches can access the harbour in Neßmersiel directly. Luggage will be stored in containers and can be brought directly to BK-Heim by a horse-drawn buggy. If you wish so we recommend to contact the company Fuhrunternehmen Bruns Strenge (+49 (0) 4939 272)

…by train

Trains run until Norden. From Norden there is a bus going to the harbour in Neßmersiel. Busses depend on the schedule of the ferry.
